Once a test or campaign has been made, buyer/non-buyer surveys provide key information for revisions to the mailing package, space ad, or catalog. These surveys reveal the need for copy or headline revisions, in addition to identifying reasons respondents have for buying or not buying. The goal is to identify why a package worked in order to build on its strengths and avoid its weaknesses.
