One of the most valuable and unique techniques DMRA can offer clients, is the STAR© Simulator for Testing Advertising Responses. This survey technique provides live-type results without a live mailing -- yielding vital, early information on response rates, average dollar sales, reasons for buying/not buying, advertising copy effectiveness and believability, and demographics and psychographics of buyers vs. non-buyers. STAR© helps select "winners" and avoid "losers" in a process that pre-tests new or enhanced products before products or fulfillment systems are fully developed, personnel hired, or formal legal approvals obtained.
